No, Andromeda Did Not Kill Your Ads. It Just Exposed Weak Strategy!

Everyone's Blaming Andromeda. But Here's What's Actually Killing Your Ads

"Facebook Ads are broken."

Facebook Ads are broken." I've heard that exact sentence 500 times this month. From six-figure business owners. From marketers who've been running ads for years. From people who should absolutely know better.

Here is the truth.
Andromeda did not break your ads.
It just made the gaps in your strategy impossible to ignore.

Why Everyone Thinks the Algorithm Is the Problem

When results dip, blaming the platform is the easiest story to tell yourself.

“It changed again.”
“My account is cursed.”
“Meta hates small businesses.”

I hear it all the time.

But here is what is really going on.

Andromeda is not just an update. It’s a smarter, faster delivery system. It reads your creative, your offer, your signals, and your structure, then decides who should see what.

If your creative is weak or your message is unclear, it learns that instantly.
If your campaign structure is messy, it exposes that too.
If your funnel is leaking, Andromeda makes that obvious.

The algorithm isn’t your enemy.
It’s a very honest mirror.

What Actually Changed With Andromeda

Andromeda changed the how, not the why.

Here’s what shifted, and why it matters.

The Real Reason Ads Are Failing

Your ads don’t fail because Andromeda is out to get you.

They fail because the fundamentals were shaky before Andromeda ever showed up.

Here’s what is actually killing performance right now:

Andromeda did not break these things.
It just refuses to cover them up.

A wedding photographer came to my AI-Driven Facebook Ads Masterclass convinced her account was cursed. She'd spent $3K in three months. Strong clicks. Zero bookings. She blamed Andromeda.

I looked at her account in 30 seconds and knew exactly what was wrong.

One week after she fixed her structure, clarified her offer, and rebuilt her creatives with clear angles, she booked a wedding and is following up on 5 more strong leads. Same budget. Better inputs."

“Kerry, quick update. Since your masterclass and joining the program, I simplified my campaigns and fixed my creative like you explained. I booked a wedding last week, yay and I have 5 more I’ve sent quotes.. and they are looking like they are going to convert.  Thank you so much.  I don’t know what I would have done without your input. Facebook ads are finally making sense again.”

Andromeda rewarded the stronger inputs almost immediately.

How to Work With Andromeda Instead of Fighting It

The system has changed, but your strategy does not need to become complicated. It just has to be solid.

  1. Strengthen your creative

Your creative is now your targeting.
Different creatives attract different buyers.
Use formats and angles that speak to each stage of awareness.

  1. Simplify your structure

One to two campaigns.
Three if you’re list building.
One or two broad ad sets.
Stop slicing your data into tiny pieces.

Let Meta learn faster.

  1. Fix the click to checkout gap

If people click and don’t buy, it’s not the algorithm.
It’s the experience.
Speed. Clarity. Relevance. Follow up.
This is where revenue is won or lost.

  1. Be patient

You cannot judge a campaign in 24 hours.
Give it a week.
Let the system stabilise.
Emotional “fixes” are the fastest way to kill strong campaigns.

Final Thought

Andromeda is powerful. But it’s not a miracle worker.

It does not replace strategy.
It does not rewrite weak offers.
It does not fix messy funnels.

It simply amplifies whatever you give it.

So give it something worth amplifying.

Your ads are not broken.
Your system just needs an upgrade.

Spending Money On Ads That Don't Get Sales

You’re Spending on Ads, But the Sales Aren’t There.. Here’s Why!

If you’ve ever looked at your ad account and thought, “We’re spending the money, but where are the sales?” you’re not alone.

This is one of the biggest frustrations I hear from business owners. The ads are running. The clicks are coming in. But the revenue isn’t following.

Here’s the truth: ad spend by itself doesn’t guarantee sales. The gap between a click and a customer is where most campaigns fall apart.

Why Sales Don’t Show Up

There are a few common reasons why sales don’t follow the spend:

The targeting is fine, but the offer doesn’t resonate

The ad generates interest, but the landing page confuses or overwhelms people

The customer journey ends too quickly, with no follow-up to turn leads into buyers

The problem isn’t always that you’re reaching the wrong people. More often, it’s that you’re not giving the right people enough reasons to move from curious to committed.

A retail client of mine was running conversion ads to promote a seasonal sale. The ads got plenty of clicks, but barely any sales. Their assumption? “Facebook doesn’t work for us anymore.”

When we looked deeper, the problem wasn’t the ads. It was the checkout page. It was slow to load, crammed with text, and missing clear product photos. People clicked with interest, then gave up before buying.

Once the page was simplified and the call to action made clear, sales picked up almost immediately without increasing ad spend.

What to Focus on Instead

If your spend isn’t turning into sales, here are three places to focus.

1) The Offer

Most ads target only the 3 percent of people who are ready to buy right now with lines like “Save 20 percent today.”

But what about the other 97 percent? They still have the problem. Your product or service is the solution. They just aren’t ready to buy today.

That’s where most campaigns leak money. If you only speak to the tiny slice of people who are ready to hand over their credit card, you miss the much bigger audience who could become your best customers tomorrow — if you warm them up today.

The best offers speak to people who are problem-aware but don’t yet know there’s a solution. Instead of “Free tax consultation” (boring and salesy), try something that creates intrigue: “How to Hide in Plain Sight and Legally Slash Your Crypto Taxes.” Now you’re reaching people who know they have a tax problem but didn’t know there was a legal way to fix it.

2) The Landing Experience

When people click, they shouldn’t land on a generic sales page. They should land on valuable content that moves them closer to being ready to buy.

That’s what the accounting firm behind the crypto campaign did. Instead of dumping people onto a form, they ran ads to a free masterclass. People got immediate value, the firm captured leads, and then followed up with everyone who attended.

 3) The Follow-Up Sequence

Not everyone buys straight away. This is where smart follow-up turns warm interest into real sales.

An e-commerce client selling premium skincare struggled with ad costs. Their first approach was typical: “Save 25 percent on anti-aging serums today.” It worked for the tiny slice of people ready to buy immediately, but most scrolled past.

We shifted the hook to, “The 3-ingredient skincare mistake that’s actually aging you faster,” and sent people to a free guide instead of straight to checkout. The guide taught them how to read ingredient labels and avoid common mistakes. No sales pitch — just genuine value.

Here’s what happened:

People who downloaded the guide were now educated about ingredients

When they saw our client’s products, they understood why premium formulations mattered

The same ad spend that generated sporadic sales now built a list of educated buyers who converted at much higher rates

The follow-up sequence matched their stage of awareness:

Recent downloaders got more educational content about skincare science

Engaged readers got case studies and before/after results

People who visited product pages multiple times got limited-time offers

Same products. Same budget. Completely different strategy that built trust before asking for the sale.

Final Thought

Ad spend alone won’t build your business. It’s not the clicks that matter, it’s the system around the clicks.

The right offer. A landing experience that delivers value first. A follow-up that nurtures people through their buyer journey.

When you put those pieces in place, your ad spend turns into real revenue.

And if you want to see exactly how to build this kind of system — from the first scroll-stopping ad right through to consistent sales — that’s what I break down inside my free masterclass.

The Facebook Algorithm Is Not Your Enemy

The Facebook Algorithm Is Not Your Enemy

Every time ad results dip, I hear the same thing from frustrated business owners:

“The algorithm changed again.”

“Meta doesn’t like small business.”

“My ads just don’t work anymore.”

Sound familiar?

Here’s the truth. The Facebook algorithm is not your enemy.

In fact, when you understand how it works, you can make it your best business partner.

Why the Algorithm Gets Blamed

Agencies love to point the finger at the algorithm. It is an easy excuse. If your ads are not converting, they will tell you Meta changed the rules again or that the platform is “stacked against small business.”

But let’s cut through the noise.

The algorithm has not killed your ads. What is hurting your ads is the same problem that has existed for years: weak creative and a lack of system.

Human nature has not changed. People are still scrolling for connection, clarity, and confidence. If your ads do not speak to that, no algorithm can save you.

How the Algorithm Actually Works for You

The Facebook algorithm is designed to do one thing: show the right content to the right people at the right time.

When your ads are clear, compelling, and consistent, Meta’s machine learning works in your favor. It will:

Find more of the people most likely to click, engage, and buy

Reduce your cost per lead or sale over time

Scale your results far faster than you could manually

So instead of fighting it, you want to feed the algorithm what it needs. Ads that follow proven psychology and a structure Meta understands.

What to Do Instead of Blaming the Algorithm

When your ads are not working, blaming the algorithm feels easy. The reality is that the algorithm can only optimize what you give it. If your ads do not stop the scroll, build a connection, and drive a clear action, there is nothing to optimize.

1: Nail the Hook

You have three seconds to stop the scroll.

Think about your own habits on Facebook or Instagram. You are flicking through family photos, news stories, and the latest viral videos. You are not looking for an ad. Something has to make you pause. That pause comes from the hook.

Most ads fail here. Their headlines are vague, their images look like every other stock photo, and their videos take too long to get to the point.

Now compare that to an ad from a home improvement company. Their first attempt said, “Quality decking installed by experts.” It blended into the feed and barely anyone noticed it. When the hook was flipped to, “Would you spend $15K on a holiday if you could have it in your backyard every weekend?” people stopped. It made them imagine themselves enjoying that lifestyle all year round. Same business, same product, completely different impact.

And you don’t have to wait for inspiration to strike. With the right prompts, AI can generate dozens of hook ideas in minutes. Set it up properly or build a ghostwriter that knows your voice, and you will always have strong hooks ready to test.

2: Bridge the Gap

Once you have attention, the worst mistake is to pitch straight away.

Most ads jump from “Got your attention” to “Buy now.” People need a moment where their problem connects naturally to your solution. That is the bridge.

Take fitness advertising as an example. A generic ad might shout, “Join our gym today. Only $29.95 per week.” Straight to the pitch. Compare that to, “Most people quit the gym within six weeks. Not because they don’t care about their health, but because no one is keeping them accountable. That’s why we built a program where every member gets a coach.” The second ad works because it connects the frustration people already feel with a clear solution.

This applies everywhere. A builder could talk about weekends wasted on DIY projects that never get finished, before showing how their service removes that stress. A coach could talk about why most business owners get stuck at the same revenue ceiling, before showing how to break through. The bridge makes the ad relatable and believable.

3: Compel the Click

The final step is the call to action. It has to be clear, specific, and compelling.

Too many ads finish with weak lines like “Learn more” or “Contact us.” That is not enough. People need to know exactly what happens next and why it matters.

For example, a financial adviser once ran ads with the call to action “Book now.” Hardly anyone clicked. When it changed to, “Take our free 60-second retirement checkup to see if you are on track,” engagement jumped. The step was easy, specific, and valuable in itself.

The same applies to restaurants, online courses, or professional services. A restaurant ad that says, “Reserve a table” is okay. One that says, “Book a table for two this weekend and your dessert is on us” makes the click feel worthwhile. One is a chore, the other feels like a reward.

In Summary

The point is simple. The algorithm cannot rescue weak ads. It cannot force people to stop, connect, and click. That part is on you. But once you nail the hook, bridge the gap, and compel the click, the algorithm will reward you by amplifying your results.

And the best part is you do not have to do all of this from scratch. With the right system and the right AI tools, you can generate multiple hooks, bridges, and calls to action in minutes, then refine them to fit your brand. That is exactly what I walk you through inside my free masterclass watch it now.

Search and Social Video Training - Part Two:

New Facebook Conversion Learning Phase - Setting up a conversion ad but optimizing for link clicks first!

Facebook has introduced a new feature which means you can use the conversion objective when setting up an ad on Facebook, without having to wait for conversions.

Key things you need to set up a Facebook Ad optimized for a conversion:
1: Facebook Pixel on all the pages you want to track on your website (pretty much all pages).
2: Event or custom conversions set up for the conversion you want to track eg: leads, sales

So in the most simplistic form Facebook needs data to optimize ads for the objective you as a business owner require.

Eg: If you were selling running shoes and asked Facebook to optimize your ad to get more sales. This would mean Facebook would show the ad to the people most likely to buy your running shoes in the place they are most likely going to see the ad, (mobile, news-feed, right hand side or audience network) at the time they are most likely to see it.  Instead of you trying to figure this out, Facebook through all it's data collection does the heavy-lifting for you.

However, for Facebook to figure this out it needs data, usually around 50 conversions. So up until now you might have run an ad to get people to click through to your website (this would mean Facebook would show the ad to people most likely to click), then you would rely on your website converting people and once you had enough conversions you would set up a new 'conversion' objective ad.

The new feature inside Facebook's conversion objective means you can set up a 'conversion' ad and then choose to optimize for website link clicks, whilst Facebook learns the conversion data. Once it has enough information, it automatically switches to optimizing for conversions.

Here is a video showing you how to do this:

CASE STUDY: 57 Sales in 6-Days from a test!

I thought I'd share with you the results I get with my online business Marathon Girl.

There's a couple of reasons I'm doing this. I hope to be transparent, inspire and show you what you can do when you do FB right!

So, here's the situation: I held my Birthday Special for my Marathon Girl running tops! The sale is still running - but these are the result after 6 days (screen shots below).

Now keep in mind a couple of things when you see this: this is my part-time business. I spent about an hour putting together the campaign and I pay others to do the dispatch and fulfilment! So my time investment is VERY little!

Sales: $2105

Ad Spend: $213.82

Ave cost per sale: $4.65

Net Profit Approx: $1550

Some other observations:

#1 - I was testing on a cold audience - PI (interest based), in fact, I was basically using this campaign for lead generation and testing..I know for every sale I get, I can easily upsell to training and nutrition programs, as well as a new membership site I have put together.

#2 - I also ran an ad-set to a warm audience. You will see this is called a WA in the screenshot of my ads. Take a look at the Cost Per Conversion and Number of conversions from this warm website audience.

#3 - One last thing for you observant folks - there's a difference in the conversion total between FB and actual sales. This is because the custom conversion pixel I am using to track conversions tracks each VISIT to the "Thank You" page - but it doesn't take into account people who purchase more than one top.

I don't tell you this to brag (okay, maybe a little) - but to reveal that this is the reality of what Facebook marketing can do for you.

This is a process, it's something that each and every one of you can do.

All you need to do is follow through.
