Facebook Location Based Targeting

OMG Facebook just keeps getting better for businesses!  This latest feature is fantastic for the tourist industry, pretty much anyone who targets tourist in a certain location, amongst other things.So Facebook has always had location based targeting, but now they have just introduced location based targeting segmentation.  You can now choose to target:

– Everyone in the location
– People who live in the location
– People recently in this location
– People travelling in this location

The last one is perfect for a tourist based company. You can now target people who are in the area but live more than 100 miles away! Ooohh the possibilities.
